To request a quote with no obligations and free of charge please send me an email including your name and your company's name and stating as much information as possible about the project.

In order to provide an accurate quote I need as much of the following information as possible. The word count, deadline and the original file format are especially important.

• Number of Words
• Original file format (eg. .doc, .odt, .pdf)
• Desired final file format (eg. .doc, .odt)
• Deadline
• The file(s) to be translated (or part of it)

Certain file formats, in particular pdfs which cannot easily be converted to text, require a lot more time to translate than standard text files and consequently there may be a surcharge for translating files in certain formats.

VAT

For clients in Spain VAT will be applied in accordance with the applicable laws. However, translations of scientific, literary or artistic texts to which intelectual property rights may be applied, (even though they may be renounced), are subject to VAT charges but may be declared exempt. In which case the invoice may contain the following text.

"Operación sujeta a IVA pero exenta por el artículo 20.1.26 de la ley del IVA 37/1992 de 28 de diciembre"

Clients outside of the EU and outside of Spain will be responsible for VAT charges in accordance with the applicable laws.
